Living with Parkinson’s doesn’t mean slowing down — movement is medicine. Rock Steady Boxing is a fun, supportive program that uses non-contact boxing, strength training, and mobility exercises to help people with Parkinson’s stay strong, steady, and confident. No matter your age or fitness level, you’ll find encouragement, community, and the tools to keep moving forward.
Who is it for?
IAnyone diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease can participate in Rock Steady Boxing. Our program is tailored to accommodate individuals at various stages of the disease, ensuring a safe and effective workout.
Recently Diagnosed?
There is a definitive benefit to starting exercise early after your Parkinson’s diagnosis. Regular exercise has been shown to slow the progression of the disease.
What is Class like?
Classes are taught by Certified Rock Steady instructors.
Reaction time and balance, workouts include: focus mitts, heavy bags, core work, calisthenics and circuit weights.
People of all ages are invited to participate. Boxers, both male and female, range in age from mid-30s to early 90s.
